Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American advisor to the political process, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. A member of Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy communication director (2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State 2013-2015, and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was an election contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her career as an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and was later elected governor of Iowa. Psaki was then appointed deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential election campaign. Psaki was communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until 2006. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications, serving as press secretary to the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. 20 years ago, Psaki was named the spokesperson of the United States Department of State. There was speculation that she was going to replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary when he left the White House[21] were fuelled by her hire at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement of Carney on May 30th, 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications. she remained until the end of Obama's presidency.
