Sarah Hayley Orrantia

Sarah Hayley Orrantia was born February 21 in 1994. She is an American performer and actress. Most well-known for her role on ABC's comedy series The Goldbergs as Erica Goldberg. She was a member Lakoda Rayne which was a country girl group which Paula Abdul created during the first season. In 2015 her first single "Love Sick," was released. The debut EP, The Way Out, was released in May of 2015. Orrantia started singing as when she was a young girl and began her studying to become a professional singer at age 12. Her first song was written at the age of 13. By 15, she had made her debut EP of cover songs and begun writing songs with her songwriter Jamie Houston who at the time was most famous for writing hits for the three Disney High School Musical movies. Orrantia was chosen to audition for The X Factor's first season in summer 2011. Orrantia was selected based on an YouTube video that she uploaded. She was awarded four "yes!" votes from the judges during an live audition phase in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was solo, but during Hollywood Week she was paired with three other female singers and put in groups for the remaining part of the auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week of live performances.
